Founded in 2001, Faith Tabernacle Community Church began in the Clayton Ambulance Hall with a handful of members. After moving to the Clayton Fire Hall, in 2003 the members acquired 10 acres of land, a 15-passenger van and the building at 962 North Delsea Drive.

The building was totally renovated over the years and a grand opening was held in 2018. All these accomplishments were made possible with the help of the Lord and through tithes and offerings.

We hold regular Sunday services and classes for youth and adults.

Ministry to the local community is one of the main missions of our church. In addition to our regular services, classes and groups, we support community endeavors, provide food for orphanages and families in other countries, and seek to reach the lost for Jesus Christ.

Our purpose is to build up the body of Christ through local discipleship, national partnerships and support of international missions.

Our Mission

The Mission of Faith Tabernacle Community Church Inc., Church of God In Christ, is to glorify God, edify the saints, and evangelize to the lost.

More specifically, our purpose and mission is to effectively minister to people of all nations, and through the Word of God and committed leadership, to ultimately “Change The World One Life At A Time.”

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.

We believe that there is One God, eternally existent in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the Blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ at His return.

We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance, faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ, and being baptized in water.

We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing in prayer.

We believe that the baptism in the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a Holy and separated life in this present world, Amen.
