Our Leadership

SENIOR PASTOR: Elder Horace W. Pritchett, Jr.

Elder Horace W. Pritchett Jr. is a native of Clayton, NJ. He is married to Rene (Hagamin) Pritchett and is the proud father of Brennen and Kelley.

The only son of Horace W. Sr. and Muriel (Wheeler) Pritchett, he was reared in the Methodist Church where he accepted the call to the gospel ministry. At the age of 18, he went to work for Atlantic Electric.

The ministry of the late Elder Henry Lester had a huge impact on his life. During the great revival at the “hall” (Masonic Center) on Academy Street in Glassboro, NJ, Elder Pritchett witnessed the power of God in operation. Feeling a deeper call to holiness, he cofounded the St. John Pentecostal Church in Camden, NJ, in 1983.

He attended Jamison Bible Institute and Manna Bible Institute in Philadelphia, PA, and was introduced to the Christian Outreach. He began mission work to Haiti.

Elder Pritchett was ordained an elder in the Grand Old Church of God in Christ in 1988. In 2000, he traveled around the world to witness the awesome move of the Holy Ghost in London, India and China.

In 2001, Elder Pritchett cofounded the Faith Tabernacle Community Church in Clayton, NJ. He is now the Senior Pastor.

Elder Pritchett has always desired to assist his fellow laborers in the Gospel. He has been a missionary to Haiti for the past 25 years, working with Christian Haitian Outreach (CHO) and Mother Eleanor Workman.

Under his leadership, our church has shipped hundreds of 55-gallon drums full of desperately needed supplies, to the orphanage and to other pastors in need.
